Scented Candles

My wife just loves here scented candles. I’m a little meh on the whole idea. I guess I could take them or leave them.

I wonder what it is about scented candles that attracts people (mostly women) to them. I don’t have anything against them, really, I just don’t get the attraction.
Yes, they smell nice (at least most of them) but they seem like a lot of work to get a minimal reward.

Speaking of which we have some rather inexpensive vanilla candles that we recently acquired. Vanilla is kind of a mute scent overall and I’m not sure why she picked that scent. I tend to go for the apple and cinnamon or something along those lines if I’m going to pick up a scented candle.
